Reverse Shallow Depth of Field

I love old sewing machines so I chose to photograph this one with two different focuses. To get the reverse depth of field I just used a large aperture and spot metering on my camera to focus first on the wheel of the sewing machine and then on the arm. I didn't edit either photo.
